SWITCH ASSEMBLERS

Now hiring Switch Assemblers to assemble switches according to specifications and prints.

Electroswitch designs and manufactures the widest variety of switches and relays for the power industry, including lock out relays and battery monitors, supporting critical applications at power utility, defense, and industrial sites worldwide.

A successful candidate will be able to identify parts by description, drawings and simple measurements on material lists to pull parts from storage bins for assigned jobs and assemble repetitive, routine production switches.

Experience with operating a grinder, drill press, hydraulic press or rivet machines, gapping, lugging, and stamping is a plus. Assemblers are expected to upkeep their workspace and may be asked to perform other duties as assigned such as building sub-assemblies.

This entry level position requires a level of knowledge that is usually associated with a High school/ Vocational school diploma with three months to one year of assembly experience. Must be able to understand and read English. Must be capable of using hand tools, hydraulic presses, grinders, drill presses and rivet machines and able to read blueprints.

Ideal candidates will have a great attention to detail doing repetitive tasks, be able to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 25 lbs and withstand regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and odors. Candidate will be trained in general safety and completing tasks to meet quality standards for ISO 9000.
